A few years ago, I was looking through photos and was surprised by how many were taken on my walks around neighborhoods in San Francisco. I’m delighted by how houses look nested, stacked, or buried. The tiny town papercuts are not based on specific views or photos, but are more of a composite.
This tiny town lives under the strength of a tree: some houses hidden in the grass and one casting a shadow.
This papercut is about 3.25" x 3.75" and comes framed in a 5" x 7" white shadowbox. This piece comes wired and ready to hang!
